Sometimes it can be hard to see what’s right in front of us.

In our community, it’s easy to see the good stuff. The beautiful mountains and the small-town culture, the endless trails, world-class fishing, and an impressive number of arts events and delicious restaurants. But the reality is that there are people from all different backgrounds in Blaine County – people just like you and me who may need our help.

And right now, there are lots of people who are struggling.

Did you know that one in four people in our community is food insecure or one crisis away from it? That 95 students in our schools are experiencing homelessness? That fully employed community members are sleeping under stairwells and unheated campers?

Even though these individuals are our neighbors, teachers, nurses, and friends, we often don’t see that they are having a hard time.

The good news is that together we can fix this. You can support your community and your neighbors by donating to Blaine County Charitable Fund.

These individuals and families simply need a bridge to stability. Whether that is an unexpected medical cost or being displaced from their home, oftentimes, all people need is just a little help paying rent, getting groceries, or accessing transitional housing.

Blaine County Charitable Fund was launched during the COVID-19 Pandemic to ensure that we can respond as a community to times of wide-reaching crisis. In less than three years, we have helped just over 1000 people. Whether it’s a pandemic, the Limelight Condo Fire, or a personal crisis, you can help provide a bridge to stability.

Will you consider a gift of $50, $100, or $500?

Your donation will provide immediate support to people in Blaine County just like you and me. Like Michelle, who is on SSI but can’t work to supplement their income due to a knee surgery. Or, like Angie, who's immediate and extended family became homeless in the Limelight Condo Fire.

Honestly, it won’t take much to help these folks get back on their feet. With a gift of $50, $100 or $500, you can provide the resources to help your neighbors, friends, and community members who are in crisis. I hope you will donate to BCCF today.

With Gratitude,

Daryl

P.S. We need to raise at least $80,000 to support everyone who needs our help right now. Please give now to help those most in need!
